Roasted Almond Honey Butter
I have yet to find an Almond Butter in the store that I like. While at Sprouts, I decided to buy some raw almonds and give it a go. Finally, a delicious almond butter with some complexity. The roasted, salty and sweet flavors all play well together and are truly better than anything you can find in the store.

Ingredients
- 1lb raw almonds
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 tablespoon honey
Directions
Step 1 | Place almonds on a sheet pan in a single layer and place in a 375-degree oven. |
Step 2 | Roast almonds for 10-15 minutes, or until your kitchen smells "nutty." |
Step 3 | Place roasted almonds in a food processor and start. |
Step 4 | Once the almonds turn into their desired consistency, add your sea salt and drizzle in your honey. |
Step 5 | Store in an air-tight container or mason jar and enjoy! |
Note
Depending on the size of your food processor, you may have to divide the nuts into two batches. The food processor will run for awhile and too many nuts may bog it down.
