As a veteran EMT working on an ambulance in busy Los Angeles County, Vince works on average, over 72-hours a week. In October, he became a father with the birth of his beautiful daughter Mikaella. Needless to say, Vince’s life is on the move, making it convenient to eat poorly and ditch workouts. However, he has managed to take control of his health and fitness and shed over 30-pounds. A few months ago Vince discovered Crossfit 818 in Glendale, California and began his transformation process. This 90-day challenge will help him hone in on his well-being, proving that no matter how busy your life is, you can tackle this challenge.
Working in public safety for over a decade now has come with its challenges, mainly eating good. As a firefighter, EMT for the motion picture industry and website design company owner, Louie’s life is constantly fueled by on-the-go food and Starbucks coffee. In 2009, weighing in at over 270-pounds, Louie decided to make a change. Over the course of the year, he was able to shed nearly 70-pounds with diet alone. With the weight gone, Louie began to concentrate on his fitness and started working out with a personal trainer. In July 2010, he found Crossfit High Voltage in Burbank, California — a day that would forever change his life. He had never been pushed so hard physically or mentally in his life and began to like his new-and-improved self. With a fitness regiment established, he started getting more serious about his diet. This 90-day challenge is part of the total transformation process and way to perfect one’s self even further.
