Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder (or carob powder)
- 1/2 cup ground hazelnuts (or almonds, walnuts)
- 3/4 cups shredded coconut (unsweetened)
- 1 tablespoon honey
Directions
Step 1 | In a saucepan over low heat, melt coconut oil and honey together. |
Step 2 | Once combined, remove from heat and add cocoa powder, nuts, shredded coconut and mix well. |
Step 3 | Using a baking sheet lined with either parchment paper or a silicone pad, pour mixture onto sheet and shape into squares or bars. |
Step 4 | Place pan in either the freezer or refrigerator and allow to harden. |
