Garlic Smashed Cauliflower

I love this dish because it’s such a great Paleo alternative to the classic mashed potatoes. In fact, I bet you’d be hard pressed to find anyone that thought these weren’t mashed potatoes in a blind taste test! For added flavor, try roasting the garlic (instead of using raw) or adding other herbs and spices. Enjoy our Garlic Smashed Cauliflower!

  • 1 Large cauliflower head (trimmed, broken into smaller pieces)


Step 1 In a large pot over medium heat with steamer tray, add cauliflower, water and bring to a simmer.
